Wow Wow Wow!!!! i am a chef and food geek. I loved that and my students would go crazy if I showed them how to do that.

Great cook! Thanks for write-up on the process.

What do you think that burger cost to make?

Hmmmmm

meat - @$12
soup bones - 2.50
cheese - @$10
mushrooms - @$4
tomatos - 3.00
misc - $5?

Had enough meat to make 4 more so about 6$ a burger.

awesome! What if anything would you change?

Hmm that's tough. It was missing a sweet element as the "ketchup" was more umami than anything. I have some leftovers and some candied jalapenos I might toss on and see what that does along with some regular ketchup too. I'd have cut the cheese slices a bit thinner since their flavor seemed more concentrated after using the melting salts.

Biggest thing I'd change is assembling with a little more thought. Maybe core out some of the top bun to keep the toppings on. It got a lil messy.

holy chit that looks good. amazing even.

but - that took a long time, what did you cook to eat while you were cooking?

Great work - I love an over the top cook.

For me, I would skip the tomatopart and drop a few jalepeno poppers on it! - Just me

I love how you did the cheese!
