Since we will be out of town next weekend my wonderful wife decided to surprise me and make me dinner this week. I have a whole bunch of frozen fish from my trips this summer so she decided to put them to good use.

I came home to this.


(homemade grapefruit thyme margarita)

Then this was to follow..



She grilled up some kingfish steaks I caught this summer, and bought a few sea scallops which she wrapped in pancetta. Also threw together a homemade parmesan white wine risotto.

Here's a hero pic of the fish just to toot my own horn a little!



She finished the meal with my favorite dessert.. Italian cream cake



And the weather was finally warm enough to hit the lake this Saturday!
To bad it dropped back into the 30's on sunday....BOO
