A few drinks to keep me hydrated

Started with a tri tip. Here's a waky marinade.
1/4 cup of soy sauce, a few splashes of dales sauce, 5 oranges, onion, garlic, black pepper. I tenderized it with a toy my wife got me that pokes a bunch of holes in the meat.

Grilled it over orange wood.

Once it hit 125 I seared both sides.

Here it is plated.

Also want to add yesterday was our 16 yr wedding anniversary.


Maribel was my girlfriend when she was 15 and I was 17. Been together ever since.
Shortly after that she moved in with me.
