After several hours of watching Michelle Jenneke , I have decided to enter the contest!

I am putting together my first ever throwdown entry today. Pics should be up tonight.(it isn't too early is it?)

OFFICIAL ENTRY!!!!!

Ok Brethren, with the start of the Track and Field events, I have decided to “bolt” to the front and honor Jamaica with my:

“Usain-ly Tasty Jamaican Jerk Chicken Wraps”

These were done on my UDS (aka “The Smurf”)

With me working hard from my smoker control center

Here is an action shot of the jerk marinated chicken and the peaches (more on these later)

I topped the chicken with a homemade pineapple salsa:

And a sour cream/ grilled peach sauce (had a great flavor but no color :sad:

Chicken came out moist and delicious

Here is the final product and my official entry:

After completing this, I realized a few things:

1. I need to improve my camera skills
2. My wife and I own only white plates. Couldn’t find a colored one anywhere in the house.
3. I should have used a green tortilla. I think it would have looked better
4. I enjoyed trying something new. Had it not been for this TD, I would have never attempted this dish.
