Did you do any fishing while you were camping?
No, although I did set up camp 30 feet from river full of trout. The only fishing I enjoy is offshore fishing. One of my friends who is a fishing nut caught an albino trout. He took pictures, and released it.

Well I am a far flung 2nd place as of right now. I'm afraid CDs pasty is gonna take this Pi challenge.

It got down to CD and SPaL. I went to the cook threads and ultimately chose SPaL. Both dishes are absolutely incredible, but SPaL's looks more like it was a PITA to make. I can fark up a pie crust like nobody's business.
I think Sir Pork's entry sums up why it is so hard to vote in a TD. You can't taste it, so you have to go by the photo and the description.
That was one entry I really wish I could have tasted. It looks awesome, but the pre-cooked chuck and pastrami tripped me up. Part of me was worried about it being dry, while the other part of me figured the sausage had enough fat to keep it all moist.
On the other hand, I knew exactly how Moose's Margherita Pi was going to taste, just by looking at the picture and ingredients.
I do know this -- I would love to cook with the other throwdown regulars sometime. Maybe we need to do a BBB Throwdown Gathering?

I'm really struggling with this one, too many good entries. I'm having a really hard time not voting for ecode. Those Pi's are work of art. It would really help my decision if Oldyote would tell me that there's meat in his Pi.

That said, you should really reserve your vote for someone more deserving. Like Bob for example.

This has been quite a day. First Phubar compliments me on my ashhole and now this. I'm on a role. :wink:
Look out CD, now that everyone knows I didn't make a meatless redneck blue tortilla chip crusted pi inspired quiche I'm looking for a big late game upset.

All very delicious looking entries, gentlemen. But for the first time, I really had no trouble picking out just one for whom to vote. Ya got me the second I saw that cream filling go into the pastry crust, ecode. Very creative pi, all four of them. You got my vote. :thumb:
