I can get them in Melbourne from my USA Foods store... but 6 Bucks a can! Your recipe over here is real expensive!

Very good beans, but something is missing. Both me and the wife think so. Any ideas??

I don't know because it really depends on what your palette thinks is missing.
Having said that, I think green and red peppers would be great in them, as
would leftover smoked pork or brisket.

Also, if they were just for me I'd spice 'em up.

I have made this many times and always get rave reviews. I have added pulled pork, brisket and chicken on different occasions. It's all good. The Ranch Style Beans IMO really set this apart. Three thumbs up! Thanks Patiodaddio!

Reheated the beans for lunch today. The flavor really developed over night. The wife and I each had 2 helpings! BTW I think the missing ingredient is brown sugar. Will try it with that next time.

John, just to clarify, you start with 110 oz of Bush's and 45 oz of Ranch?

Many thanks! I couldn't find a 55 oz can (28 oz, or the #10 117 oz can only) so I wanted to be sure I hadn't misunderstood.

Giving these a run this weekend for my old high school's baseball team, I trust this gang of 15-18 year olds and their parents will approve!

Have to give this one a shot this weekend, thanks PD.

Think I might make them on Friday night to let the flavors meld together, then reheat them on the smoker with and add some chopped spare trimmings to add a little smokiness to the flavor.
