what type of mushrooms are the best for that type of appetizer? those look great, I like the BBQ sauce addition.

I only use the Frogmats in an indirect way but, if you were to look straight down at my grill, often you would see the frog mat is placed right at the line where the coals end. Now mind you, this usually means that the coals have tapered down a bit so, I would say around 10 inches from the coals.

Honestly, I'm cheap when it comes to experimenting. The mushrooms I used were just the plain white ones you normally find in the store. But, some would say if you are going to do it, use "Stuffing Mushrooms" or Criminis (Baby portabellas).
