Refrigerated pork spoilage

How long can pork be stored refridgerated before spoilage? I know beef can go up to 45 days. How long (days), for safe storage of pork from the pack date?

Better to freeze then thaw out 2-3 days before you need it.

According to a culinary textbook, "On Cooking", It states "beef can be wet aged in cryovac in a refrigerator for up to 6 weeks... The shelf life for vacuum sealed refrigerated Pork is approximately 3 weeks."

That is what I was looking for. I thought 3 weeks was about the limit but was not sure? Thanks
