Thanks for the insight. I know we've got to pay the dues and I don't see "failure" as much as learning curve!

We're getting better organized (less the look of the gypsy traveling road show each time) and time management is getting better though it's still stressful.

We're hoping to upgrade our rig(s) for next year and come up with a combination that best allows us to concentrate on the end product and presentation instead of expending so much effort on the process. :D

This process is part of the fun of competition, I think! Maybe next year we can offer opportunities for Brethren to come and cook with us!! We just need to get our act together so we don't come off like Abbott and Costello!!

2005 will be a new season and new chance to get out amongst them!!

I have some more for the photos section that I will post when I get back from OK mid-week. Have the turn-in pics and all of that.
Gotta figure out how to do that photo posting first!

The hats were done by Parrothead for a previous Bash.

Unfortunately they aren't available for purchase - at least not yet.

I told Karen to put 2 things on my headstone:

"The Southern Brethren beat ButtRub in Chicken"--and--
"We got a Brethren hat"!

I figure that I will actually earn that hat when DF and I kick a** in the FLBBQA in 2005!
