Default Trailer Vend Hood Question

Can you use a regular restaurant ventalation hood in a trailer or is there a specail kind you need?

Check with your HD, but we mainly install the same specs in our trailers as required in restaurants. Some HD's require fire suppression, some don't. It varies from place to place.

I found a restaurant hood for sale in really good shape. It is 8.5' with fire suppression, alll the lights and exhaust fan for 600.00 and was hoping to use it. Our HD does not require it but the Fire Dept does in some county's we will be in

Be sure you make who ever you choose to be your trailer builder aware of this prior to construction. I (if I was the builder selected) would require photos and the exact specs, measurements etc...before hand. This way we know exactly where to reinforce the roof and install the electrical for the fan.
