Default Spatay! It's what's for dinner!

OK, this one was for a throwdown but it's good enough for it's own thread...

It began with:

Marinade:
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup vinegar
3 tbs soy
3 tbs honey
1 tbs turbinado
2 tsp fresh ginger
1 tsp cayenne

Spam Tease

Guess...

Annnnnnnd the payoff! I wanted to call them spash-kabobs, but Redhot came up with Spatay!

Strike a pose...

The marinade was reduced to a sauce for drizziling after cooking. Last pic for the entry please.

I could not believe how good SPAM could be. The marinade was reduced by 1/2 and became a glaze and sauce for the plate. Redhot said it was a keeper and I'm thinking of using it on some sirloin next...

Very nice Guerry, Spam and pineapple is such a great combo too. Now, as for the pit Vogue-ing...

I love the Spam but my wife thinks it is disgusting. She is such a silly woman.

If I made your recipe she would eat it all and say it was wonderful. Silly woman indeed.

Very nice job. I particularly like 2 things:
1. The marinade. I will be stealing that for sure.
2. The pose! The BBQ'ing machine!
3. The final plate.

That is 2 right?

Well done!

I think the pineapple and soy are right on the mark for SPAM.

You know, with that pose.. you may want to send a photo to the SPAMsuits.
They may be looking for new talent to hawk their wares.
