Default Turkey, elk, venison and pork. Oh My! (Pron)

These past two days have been a smoking marathon.

For thanksgiving I did, two turkeys, an elk roast and venison steaks.

The turkeys out of the brine and rubbed down.

Bacon lattice for the elk roast.

Elk in marinade of red wine and spices

Wrapping the elk in bacon.

Turkeys on the cooker.

Turkeys and elk on cooker

The big bird (20lbs of turkey)

The little bird (15lbs of turkey)

Finished Venison steaks.

Elk roast sliced.

Today I did pulled pork and venison ribs for a family and friends get together.

Venison ribs.

Don't have photos fo the pork but everyone thought everything was great. they loved the flavors.

I figured with 5 teenage boys coming over and 3 adults who ate like teenagers it would be enough. It was and now i have leftovers for the week.

Y'all are welcome. Hopefully this week, as I go back to work, I will have time to post my elk and turkey recipes on my blog.
