Default Don't call this a McRib (aka McPoop)

With all the recent statements of how terrible the McRib is (I totally agree) and what everyone is doing to make their own version, I had to take a stab!

I cut some loin down last night into 3/8" slices and cooked them in the 3-2-1 rib method. They came out like boneless ribs so I had the idea to make an edible version of a McRib Sandwich. Being that it was a last minute thought, I had to use 2 potato hotdog buns for the roll. Tasted great not being a Mc sandy!

Does your McRib have this sort of melt in your mouth muscle grain? Look at the smoke ring!

Looks downright edible! I'd try that over a regular McRib any day!

I see no onion, nor is there any sliced dill pickle visible. What kind of fraud are you trying to perpetrate?

I like the idea of using a cut down pork loin.

I was going to try my first McNummy with BB's but I may try the loin first instead.

Thanks! I got the idea from something Danielle (DivaQ) posted early in the summer. She posted something about making pig pops or something where you cut down loin into 1x1 strips and then put'em on skewers and rub'em. I was thinking of working on my rib style and I already had the loin in the freezer.
