Default Salt - a rookie question??

I have been looking at a bunch of recipes. And I have seen recipes ask for Kosher salt, some ask for Sea Salt. Can someone tell me the difference between these and regular table salt?? I am sure there is, but I just don't know.
thanks for the help.
And as always, I appreciate the help of the Brethren!

The only differences are in the texture and the density, not the taste.

Table salt may include iodine.

American BBQ Systems model All Star, CS-570 & TG-300 pellet grills, Broilmaster P3, and lastly, Superfast Red Thermapen
