Default When shooting your butt......

I know to inject your butt a few to several hours before smoking, but has anyone also tried injecting their butt at the same time when they foil and if so, how did it turn out. I just don't want to ruin a butt and my time if this is a busted idea. I just want to have a more juicier piece of meat in the end and not just fat juices. Thanks!

Never tried injecting at foiling. I've just added apple juice to the foil. Sometimes I'll add the juice/drippings back into the pulled pork. I always put the juice/drippings in a bowl & chill to remove the lard on top first. Cheers!!!
If Homebrew & BBQ aren't the answer, then you're askin' the wrong questions... Cheers!!!

You can do that. In fact, Myron did that during class.

Make sure that what ever you are injecting with is up to temp, so you don't cool the butt down.

There is a huge difference between the guy who knows it all and the one who wants to know it all.
