I understand this contest has close to, if not over, 50 teams now. This will be our first time there and we've heard all good. Besides us, I know Quau and Caveman Cuisine will be at Butler. Who else is headed this direction for Halloween weekend?

I'm planning on coming to let you guys kick my butt again! When I called last week it sounded like he had about 58-59 teams. Sounds like another very competitive contest. Weather forecast looks excellent!

Good luck guys! Really going to miss this one, it was Vern and I's first contest together 3 years ago. Just can't cut it less than a week after returning from the Jack.

On there web site under events, i called and spoke with a lady there, they will have ez ups set up for the chili cook, along with power, you can begin setting up at 4 you can also decorate if you wish.....then voting starts at 5-7... they will count the votes at 7, its 15 bucks to enter...but you should call her so they know in advance so the can prepare your spot , the only down side is if your planing on cooking sausage, beans, salsa and sauce for thats nights events the turn in for that is at 7 pm our team will be busy with both

then i belive cooks meeting is at 8pm............theres also a pie contest at 10 am saturday morning
