Default Frankeweber pizza oven?

I want to build a frankenweber wood burning pizza oven. I can't seem to find any clear instructions on how to build one. Any suggestions?

Take a look at this thread, Moose just completed a version.

I had considered doing a wood fired version of the frankenweber, but found no meaningful plans (I know the Pizza Hacker will sell plans, but will not disclose price on his site) The other issue for me was simplicity...propane just seems easier to manage. I have not tested mine yet, but will soon and will post pics.

I just found the link to the build instructions. :)

Didn't realize it was propane powered but probably makes for easy cleanup.

Yep, that is what I used. He really pioneered the whole propane powered frankenweber concept, and judging by his pies, I feel confident in following his build. Follow the original thread that Landarc just posted and you'll find some useful comments from gtsum, who has made some great tweaks to his. The big question for me that he answered was what to use as a heat deflector. He currently uses a 10 inch stainless bowl filled about 1/3 full of sand that seems to work out well. I believe this, along with my "d" shaped grilled pizza stone made specifically for the weber should turn out really good pies.
