All proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of the Columbia area. This contest is organized and presented by our local Beta Beta Que Society.
Along with the BBQ competition, there will be kids Q, a Friday night dance, music provided by the Blues Deville Band, (www.bluesdevilleband.net), a bbq grill raffle, a silent auction, and much more. I have a favor to ask. My wife and I need to help a team at a contest to qualify for our master judge certification. Would any of you that are cooking Queing for a Cause be willing to help us out. We can wash pots and pans, bring you a beer, mix drinks, run errands, guard duty, tell some jokes whatever is needed. If someone is willing we will do our best to be helpful to you while staying out of your way. keith
