Oh no, you cooks make crappy judges....your all "my meat is better than this, an I know all there is about BBQ, an thats not the way I do it"
And worst of all we know the only reason to be a judge is to have free BBQ to take home and feed your family for the rest of the week.

I don't see the problem!!

Neil, we took ours at the GAB this year and had a good time. The cool part about doing it at a bigger contest is that the teams cooking for the class are usually pretty good. They also brought in a few old timers to talk to us. You will be glad you did it.
