A slight traeger Modification
I was reading up on those that did some case iron bolt on "heat sink" mods to their tragers and found myself on the way to the metal supply shop and an idea came to me.
Why not pick up some 1/4" steel plate and bolt the piece to the bottom of the existing diffuser plate. Let me tell you the heat retension is amazing. Had it up on high and dropped it down to smoke after awhile and it seemed like it took forever to even move. Very happy with the mod. Next up sourcing some firebrick for the bottom interior. KL |
