This will be my first KCBS event, and the only one in Texas I know of.

We received a Labor Day Weekend exemption by consenting to a police escort in and out of the state. We were a little confused by the request for a cavity search...but, in the spirit of cooperation, we sent them our dental records and said find 'em yourselves.

After a crazy year with a new job in Alabama and now back in Texas, Pappa Charlies will more than likely be dusting off our UDS's and head north to the MetroPlex.

Final decision tomorrow.

With only two comps this year, a beat down in Havasu and the same results in Elba, Alabama, I'm just there for the beer..

Looking at the festival map, I'm not so sure of the wisdom of having the childrens activity area next to the BBQ site also known as the Adult Activity Area...

looks like at least 40 teams, looking forward to meeting all the Brethren in attendance.
