Yep, sons big time buddy was suppose to build it. But at the last minute.(10 days before it first cook date) He backs out. Son then showed up at the house with trailer,tank and some pipe in tow!  Having built only two horizontal "Detroit" style drum grills in the past.We built it in 8 ½ days before seasoning and the drive across state to smoke. It is suppose to come back for some minor changes. As I found this site after it was rolling up the road  Biggest thing is the style and size of the door! My first choice was the cut on the sides ¼ from the top end back towards the center, and ½ way down to the grill line or center line of the tank.Then Blasted and a couple coats of engine high temp paint.
