I too must say that part of bacons appeal is that nothing looks like it. Call me a purest but, darnit, sometimes we can't improve things.

The "secret" looks like egg dye from left over Easter Egg dye kits.
Doubt he's using vinegar - probably water.

Will I try it...probably not. If my daughters don't want to eat bacon that just means MORE bacon for MEEEEEEE!!!

I guess that the only good thing to do with this bacon is make fashionably colored bacon bras.......
