Default First time Dino Bones...and chicken kabobs (pron)

Did some beef ribs for the first time this weekend. Cooked them on the performer over indirect heat for just over 2 hours. Turned out really good. I have heard of "pig honey" coming from ribs before....but I never heard of "beef honey". After about 1.5 hrs on the grill the ribs started weeping a golden froth....I guess this could be beef honey. Anyways enjoy the pics.

Oh yeah, through some kabobs on the gasser for the wifey...her favorite.

I knew I could count on a comment from you :) . I have only tried stone crab claws once but they were very good. I may have to try them again.

I cooked them just over 2 hours...but would have liked to cook them longer. I was short on time as my wife is pregnant...and she was hungry. Never make a pregnant woman wait for dinner...lol. They weren't fall off the bone but pulled away clean. They were really good.

Nice looking ribs there, yep, nothing like dino-bones. Too bad you ran out of time, they do take a while to render out properly.

I hear you brother....when a pregnant wife wants food it better be ready right away! We just had our baby and I can finally get back to the BBQ. Good Luck!

Yeah my wife is due June 20th and this is our first. She has been really good though, extremely happy all the time. Since I'll be off for a few weeks in June when the baby comes I'm hoping to get a lot more bbq in during that time. We'll see if I can do that and take care of a newborn at the same time!
