Should you inject a brisket right before you put it on or a couple of hours before or no real difference.
Have people had plenty of luck with the high heat method without injection |

I make up my injection, usually about a quart and inject half into the brisket that is setting inside of a plastic bag and pour the other half over the brisket, meat side down and let it marinate in the injection overnight.

I have not injected, but, I have done several brisket with the high heat method with good success. I can only imagine injected would be even better.
