Default Wing contest today with the team

I did a fun wing contest today, it was a great day with the team "family"

It was alot like most non sanctioned smalltown contest that I have done in the past. At the end I had a judge come out and tell me that he thought my wings were by far the best in the group. But I got 8th place out of 10

I think I messed up by doing hot wings insted of using a bbq sauce. I was the only one that turned in a buffalo sauce.

Here is a picture of the team.

you gotta go with what works for you. Either way you spent the day in the smoke with your family. That's 1 out of 10 for me!!

I did forget to say that I was 2nd in Peoples choice. I guess I had the wrong group of judges

Your right nate, it was a great time with the kids and wife. All the money that we raised went to little league baseball.

There were 10 teams and all of us cooked 40 pounds of wings. All 400 pounds of wings were gone by 3 pm. People could not even buy wings till noon
