Sour cream and goat cheese...cool take on these hot little apps.

I like the pastry bag idea. May have to borrow that one.

Ok I just make stuffed Jalepenos yesterday and now you have me wanting them again. I was able to find Chepolte Cheddar cheese at a local store and mixed it with softened cream cheese and Paprika sounds similar to your recipe. the left over mix I added shrimp and topped with Cocktail sauce, It made a get chip dip too.

Thanks for posting this, I was looking for a cream cheese-less filler for ABTs and here you are! Just a note- if you are direct grilling over coals in a Weber, would that still be considered smoking? I understand you'd have wood in there for the smoke (as we all do!). Thanks for the pron! Looks tasty!

I've been using these smoked but uncured bacon products lately that have about a third of the sodium. Maybe you can find some and then have 3 :)

Really? I know I made some bacon but it's still high in sodium.

I have been using a decent bacon called Corn King (green and yellow cardboard container) that makes a 40% reduced sodium bacon for around $3.50 a pound at most grocery stores. I doubt it is LOW sodium, but at least LOWER sodium! Pretty good flavor, too, and I actually prefer it to most stuff available.

Oh yeah, I just whipped up a quick bunch of filled peppers, and your bag trick worked slick as snot (almost literally)! Thanks for that tip!

I know what you mean LT7, if I ate all the ABT'S my self, and the stack of ribs, I would have to be admitted into the hosp the next day.

And I would have to get drained with sofa-chloride, and a mega dose of diredics, really brutal stuff.

Last year I could do just such a thing with no ill effect.
