Contest Announcment 6th Annual U.P. Hog Wild, July 16th and 17th, Kingsford Michigan

We would love to have all of you join us at the 6th Annual U.P. Hog Wild BBQ and Music Festival being held July 16th and 17th in Kingsford, Michigan. Once again we will be a KCBS sanctioned, Michigan State Championship BBQ Competition. We have expanded the infrastructure to make room for 42 teams this year. While we have space for more, we want to be certain to offer the best hospitality to every team that joins us. This year we are proud to be part of The Great American BBQ Tour. And we are also proud to have been selected as one of the events that makes up The Kingsford Points Chase. Even more reason to visit the beauty of Upper Michigan in the summer. (It has to be warmer than last year)

There will be a lot of great music, the UP Antique Car Show, games and rides for the kids, and a lot of family fun. Please check us out at www.uphogwild.com. Sorry, we're not going to be able to make it this year... We're doing both the Waterloo and La Porta contests that weekend.

Just wanted to let you folks know that we have added the option to get private on spot portable toilets for the weekend. And, if you have kids with you, there will be a Kid's Q on Friday evening. This is the first time we will be doing the Kid's Q and the details just got worked out with our sponsors.

I've got this one as a maybe right now. Is this the one that gives you Royal Oak charcoal, and is a Kingsford competition as well? I thought that was kind of interesting. Anyways, looks like a fun event and I will have to see what the schedule looks like.
