Default KC Barbecue - Food TV

Awesome 6pm CST show.

Bobby Flay, in Kansas City

This Burnt Ends place, and this place where someone with the initials LC (welded into the pit) has been cooking for 30 years or something.

Awesome show.

Those places are around, but are and exception rather than a rule. Last time I ate Q out my allegedly hickory smoked brisket was good brisket but had never been anywhere near a burning piece of wood. If your gonna call it Q and put it in front of me there better be a smoke ring on it. Oven cooked brisket with a splash of sauce on it just won't do.

I've eaten at L.C.'s several times. It is good, but not great. And they really Q there, not boil. The burnt ends are tasty. They are located in Mo., over by the stadiums. Makes awsome tailgate grub.

Seriously, other than your own, where do you go for good BBQ in your area? If I only had time to go to ONE bbq joint in your area where would I go?
