Day 3 comin' up soon...:becky:

Man does that look like fun! Have a great time!:becky:

Very nice. Seems a little absurd what these wineries get for their tastings though.

Really great pictures JD, looks like your having a great time, does your wife know your running around with some young "chick"? :):), Thanks for sharing, You guys have a great time!

Looks great!!! We have been to some of those places on the way to Hearst Castle. I have a picture somewhere of my climbing Pismo rock.

Have fun guy a send more pictures.

Had lunch with JD and his wife today. It was a great time. JD has the group picture. And Bob (landarc) has a picture or two, but here's a couple I took of the important stuff.

While waiting for everyone I stopped in the Whole Spice store at the Oxbow Public Market and picked up a few things.

It was great to meet JD and his wife, great folks with a real passion for food and drink. There was some excellent cheese involved as well.

Outstanding vacation, thanks for the awesome pictures folks.

Looks like a fun time and great company. Your pictures bring back some great memories of the wine country. Beautiful place!!!

Enjoy!!

Bigdog, that burger was every bit as good as it looks in that photo.

You do know that I'm hating you right now. :mad2::wink:

So, how do you suppose I could go about making one of those bad boys?

JD sorry I missed meeting you and your wife.
When I read that you were going to the "Wine Country", I did not realize that included Mendocino County (most only think of Napa and Sonoma Counties) . Anderson Valley and the Mendocino Coast are in our backyard. Booneville is less than 20 miles from our house. DANG! BUT I already had commitments (friends flying into Sacramento from WA.) Maybe next time

Enjoy the rest of the trip. Have fun...

JD, sorry I could not make it over, I have been fighting a chest cold all week. If you are still in the area, go over to Fort Bragg (next to Mendocino) and visit Glass Beach. It is actually where the old dump was located and all of the old bottles have broken up and been polished by the wave action. It is beautiful.

NUTZ

You hooking up with Larry and Bob today?

Yup...:thumb:

Very nice. Seems a little absurd what these wineries get for their tastings though.

Tell me about it...$200.00 dollars later and not even a buzz to show for all our efforts...:tsk:

Here's a couple of pics from our meat-n-greet...Larry forgot the REAL important stuff...:becky:

My dinner was in that meat case.

TK, Napa has gotten out of line with the tasting costs, I am wondering if they are going to stop charging as much now that may of them are on the ropes financially. Sonoma and Mendocino are a lot cheaper in that manner.
