Default Christmas Ham...Anyone ever try this?

Thinking of doing our Christmas ham a little different this year.

Once you hear the plan, you'll know I've been spending too much time
on my bbq habit.

I'll get the smoker going to about 300 degrees.

Let the ham warm up a bit.

Then foil, adding parkay and brown sugar....Trigg style.

Gonna be a sticky mess, but sounds good to me.

In the oven, the ham would not get the smoke from the initial warming phase.

Could I warm up a ham in the oven....no doubt.

Not much I couldn't cook in an oven.
