Hello every one. I just got a guru for my BW chubby. The instructions say to build the charcoal in a pyramid and light at the top.I have built up the charcoal tray to four inches and put directional deviders.I have also burned across the tray and in a u shape. The deviders can be removed if needed. Can any one give me advice or tips on building a good fire for using the guru?.

I don't have a BWS, but when lighting my WSM's, I fill the charcoal ring and make a small indention in the middle of the ring and put my hot coals there. That allows the air to get to the bottom of the coalls. Works for me
