Default Is rump roast suitable for Q?

Done chuck or chusck roasts, quite tasty. Seems like rump might be a bit lean. Anybody tried one? They are about the only thing close on sale this week and damn it I'm gonna q something if I have to scrape it off the roadside.

I did a rump roast awhile back. I think it would need a marinade to tenderize it. I just used a rub and it tasted good but a little tough. Maybe TK's Dr Pepper marinade?
I didn't hijack the thread. I just took it in a completely different direction.

Spicewine, 2 Dutch Ovens, Weber OTP, 18 " Weber Kettle, White Mountain Ice Cream Freezer, Whirly Pop, Cast Iron Hot Dog cooker, and a 15 year old. Moink.

It's tough 'cause there's not enough fat!! Bacon wrap the thing! Of course, marinade is never a bad idea :D
