Default Top Loading Cambro

Anyone using them?

http://cool.cambro.com/Ultra_Pan_Car...Transport.ashx

Going to check some out, they have three 6" stainless 1/3 pans per box.

Might be good for catering drop offs.

Pros/Cons?

I've got 2 MPC400 boxes, but they get real heavy!

I have the older version. It works fine, I bought it off of ebay several years ago mainly because it was a lot cheaper than the front loaders. I think I paid $30.00 for it and it was well used. The only difference is the latches, mine will hold six half pans.

Npt to be snarky, but isn't a 'top loading cambro' just an igloo cooler?

(To me a real benefit of a cambro device is the multiple/easy tray access through the side)

The benifit to the cambro is that they fit the pans. Air is your enemy with keeping anything hot or cold.

We have a few old singles, 20yr +, that still work great.

Default **Deal or No Deal?**

OK-
So I pick up a few of these Cambro 180MPC's and they were Military Surplus, new w/boxes.

They all have three Stainless Polar Ware 1/3 pans 6" deep w lids & gaskets.

$50 each, Deal or No Deal? I figure the pans are worth that much?

For catering or small vending, deal.
