Default California Pitmasters Raise Funds for Charity...

The California BBQ Association (CBBQA) and its Pitmasters raised over $8,000 for California’s Children’s charities this past weekend. In an two day format, the CBBQA and its BBQ University had 35 students enroll in Saturday’s annual “Introduction to Authentic BBQ Class”, followed by 38 attend the Sunday’s “Advanced Pitmaster Class”

Kudos to the Pitmasters from All Hogs go to Heaven, 155 South, BLQUE and the owners of Great American BBQ Restaurant as well as Chuckwagon Catering for the donation of their time and efforts in this fund raising event.

The CBBQA is a non-profit 501c3 that raises money throughout the year for various childrens charities. In 2009 the CBBQA raised over $58,000 for its charities. CBBQA events can be found at CBBQA.ORG

Thanks a bunch, I really enjoyed the Sunday Advanced class. Knowing that the funds go to charity just makes it that much better.
