Did anyone who attended this last year remember there being a gate fee for people to get in?

Last year there was no entrance fee but I noticed that on the packet I got in the mail. Last year they charged $100 vending fee and got compliants so I guess they reduced the fee to $20 but now are charging for gate admission. I don't think that is a way to get more people to come. I'm not bringing alot of food to vend. Last year it wasn't very good vending.

The organizers have been great and it's for a good cause, but I don't know many people who would pay $5 to get into a contest like this.

The organizers are great and I had a blast last year so this year should be good also. I hope more people attend for vending and the luck is with me this year like last year.

Somebody said they followed Whiskey Bent BBQ in Clermont? Congrats to Whiskey Bent BBQ on their first Grand Championship as professionals.

Heard they all took Rub's (Swamp Boys) Cook Class last week. Chad said that they took about 33 pages of notes between all of them.

I'm calling a Whiskey Bent Grand/Swamp Boys Reserve on the pro side.

Good Buddies BBQ Grand on the backyard side.

If I can get a list of roll call, I can post all odds for everybody.
