I have been BBQing for many years and think it is time to compete. I have never competed in a BBQ comp and I was advised that it might be a good idea to volunteer to help a team so I could see what it really means to compete before I try it on my own. Sounds like great advice.
I live close to the Delaware Water Gap (for the local guys that know what that means) and I would be willing to travel a number of hours to lend a hand. I am very handy and capable and do not have a problem doing grunt work. When the work is done I can wander around and smoke a cigar. If your teams are already fully staffed I would be more than happy to show up and watch. I promise not to get in the way. Chris jaronsky@verizon.net
