Default Pulled Pork Pockets (pics)

Let's continue with the leftover pulled pork theme. Here are some
pulled pork pockets that I whipped up for lunch.

It's just canned flaky biscuit dough rolled out to six-inch rounds,
filled with pork then brushed with an egg wash and sprinkled with a
little chili powder. Bake at 350* for 20 minutes. I served them with
BBQ sauce for dipping.

They're simple, but very tasty!

I do believe that will be my next leftover trick. Would make great snacks at the superbowl (i am sorry, big game) parties.

Thanks, folks. I hadn't thought of it, but they would make for a pretty nice Super Bowl finger food. They are just a little hand-friendly pulled pork sammy.

Looks good John...

reminds me of the BBQ joint in Connecticut that used to ofer a Bunkie, Louisiana style meat pie.. They used to serve it with a really nice pepper jelly/honey dipping sauce.. worked very well together.
