Default Thursday's pulled pork - pron

Sorry it took so long to get these up. Thursday my boss was in town and came over for dinner, pulled pork at his request! Also tried sinething I've never done before I smoke tomatoes and made pasta sauce from that, it was awesome!!!

The tomatoes I just had frozen (I normally throw some whole garden tomatoes into the freezer every year for sauces in the winter), I just put them in next to the meat and let them thaw under smoke, I then pureed them skin and all for the sauce, worked great. Mu buddy puts tomatoes into boiling water for a minute then ice water, which allows him to peel them quickly, he then sticks them on a tray or muffin tins (not just for chicken anymore) and under smoke for an hour or two. Either way the sauce is great, a mild smoke like maple or apple is what I prefer, gives the sauce that little bit extra!!!
