Boat-n-BBQ, your brisket sounds really good!! I'd share the venison for part of that brisket. Thanks!

Thanks Marc, hope you get one. I know you are probably too busy to get out and hunt right now.

Tjus, hope it works out well for you!

Drifter...Thank you!

B-U-T-ful Jeanie!... I've never cooked any game meats except in burger form.
My hunter friends up here in Colorado go for deer, elk, and antelope every year. This season was a bad one for them so far. They promised to bring me some big cuts once they get lucky. Anyway, any tips or advice would be great for cooking those lean, game cuts!

You know...sometimes I wonder what it would be like to marry a cowboy with a ranch..... Wonder if I'd get more accomplished with him doing the hard stuff around here. Hmmmm.. I guess I can day dream about it.

Thank you Mike!

Lou and Pete, thanks.. you don't know how much I appreciate your friendships.

Thank you Curt and Bogus!! Bogus, I hope you have great luck with the venison, that's nice of your friends to give you part.

Smoke it, thanks! The skillet is a 15 inch one. It's great for frying potatoes or okra for a crowd too. but it is a bit heavy when full.

Thank you George, Max and Al!!
