Bourbon Sweet Potato Pie

I made this for Thanxgiving dinner but just now getting around to posting it. If you like pumkin pie you love this one and pretty easy to make.

Bourbon Sweet Potato Pie

Yield 1 pie

1 – 9” pie shell
2 cups (1 - 20 oz. can) - cooked sweet potatoes
½ stick - melted butter
1 can - sweetened condense milk
1 tsp – vanilla extract
1 egg – beaten
¼ tsp – nutmeg
½ tsp – cinnamon
2 tbsp – bourbon

Combine last 8 ingredients and mix well. Pour into pie shell and bake for approx 60 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold with dollop of whipped cream.

I haven't had good Sweet Potato Pie in 30 years... I'm thinking that I just found the desert for Sunday's dinner!!!!!

Question, would it work with Jack D.?

Looks mighty good and bet it tastes even better!
Pretty sure I can come up with a couple tablespoons of Jim Beam.......
Definitely on the short list to make real soon.

Yep, 350o, forgot to include that. Also feel free to adjust the amount of bourbon to your liking.
