Default ham...roast...

alright so my gramps had a pig cutup and packed... and got a buncha ham roasts out of it...but no good stuff like butts or shoulders he doesnt know, and neither do i... being a ham roast.. is it already cured ususlly from a meat packer? im defrostin it now so i'll find out soon enuff, but im itchin to know cuz i wanna cure my own ham with all this curin goin on around these parts. also will be takin idears fer curing recipes cuz i never done anything like this before

Usually not...its most probably a fresh or green ham but these are excellent on the smoker. some of our friends prefer to smoke them to shoulders.
