It's purty. Kinda expensive by the time you pay cost and shipping, but would make a nice looking UDS.

Shipping was 267.00

Nice drum.The cost would be steep when you add custom made parts, like grills etc. You would also need an 18-24" high step just to load up the meat! But....If you got deep pockets, you can tell me to take a hike. Just my $.02

Thickness is 26 gauge. Pretty thin as most grums are 18 or 20 gauge.

My thoughts exactly. Make a mini uds from a keg. its not that hard and the ones I've build run for 12 or more hours on a single fuel load. and a keg is 16ga 304 ss.

You could get a sheet of stainhless steel and wrap a 55-gallon drum alot cheaper.

Didn't notice the gauge. Probably would be to thin. How do you setup the fire in a keg drum? I have a 30 gallon and have less than 24" clearance, coal to grate. Diffuser?
