Here it is, her first fire, almost brought tears to my eyes. This was at about 9 this morning, been running at close to 400 letting all the nasties burn out. Seasoned with vegetable oil, and the ribs will go on in the next 10-15 minutes. I have the chicken in the fridge in a bucket o brine. This has a nice air flow through it been chugging along using about a split every 1 - 1.5 hours. I'm a happy man today

Pron from today. Looks really good, smelled really good, but after being out in the heat I just wasn't hungry
 . Since it was for my neighbors party I wasn't that upset, it looks like they are enjoying it.

Building a pit of that caliber is hard work, but when you finish and have food on it like that it makes it all worth it. You will have lots of fun with it for sure.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! Here are a few pictures of it all painted up. I still have plans to add a wood rack on the side, and a storage box in front, but had to get it ready to cook for my mom for her annual labor day party. Excuse the temporary lights, I didn't want to weld something on only to have to remove it later. Tomorrow will be it's first road trip!
EDIT: Forgot to add, cooking 20 racks of ribs (BB), 70-80 Moinks, and 20-30 cloinks tomorrow. I may have to come back and grab the drum!
