This little joint down the street only sells tamales when it cools off. I've been waiting all summer for them to start up again. But yours look like they would blow theirs away.

Thanks for the kind comments everybody!

My beer/tamale weekend came to an end. I had to bag up a bunch for the freezer. A girl can only eat so many tamales and drink so much beer over three days. lol


Planoguy, I use the bagged masa from the store, mix it with warm water and salt...then mix in enough lard to make a ball of it float in water. It's easy to mix up and it's so light and fluffy. :)
