Default Shepherd's Pie Bierocks

So, ever since Cowgirl posted bierocks, I've been lusting after them....


I mean, jeez, who wouldn't want to eat that!

But I knew I needed to take a little different spin. So, I bring you to Shepherd's Pie Bierocks.

Ground Lamb, 2 packages...

Grated carrot and onion

Thyme, Rosemary and garlic

Chicken stock, wine, worsty and tomato paste

Brown the meat, then add in the thyme, rosemary and garlic. After a few minutes, add the carrot and onion.

Add worsty and wine. Stir and reduce. Then add in the paste.

Stir in...

At this point, top with some mashed potatoes and stick in a 350 oven for 30-45 min and eat it up...but if you want bierocks, you have to take it a bit further.

Cabbage, added...

I used napa cabbage...cooked down a touch to let it release some moisture.

Rolled out the dough and adding in the mince
