We did it. Great contest. Jim (the organizer) worked his butt off. We will be back next year. There was some confusion about when the cooks would be able to leave (after awards) due to the crowd of spectators, But I believe everyone who wanted to leave after awards was allowed to.

We were there. Jim did a nice job running things. New location next year will hopefully work out better. I hope we have the same neighbor.

york, hope you do it next year. This was the first event that was KCBS State Championship. Jim is a good friend of mind and a Sertoma brother and yes, he worked his a$$ off and really did a great job. He is now a KCBS CBJ and has gone to help with some other events to help organize. It is going to be awsome next year.

It was my personal favorite contest of the year, up until the Royal--we just had fun. If would highly recommend it if you don't mind Caveman and Meatburner getting all the calls.

Clark, as we discussed, six $20.00 bills in each turn-in box is golden! Look forward to meeting you next week.
