I'm in the same camp as others here with Emeril. Before him, FN was awful. Unwatchable. Emeril brought it to life.

I _really_ miss Iron Chef ... not that American atrocity, but the original Japanese one. That was great, great entertainment and the cooking on those shows was amazing. "Oh my gosh, Kenji-san, I think he's putting squid ink and shark's cartiledge into the ice cream machine!"

I, for one, would love to see old reruns of Jeff Smith, the Frugal Gourmet. He was fairly big for a PBS cooking guy in Seattle ('cause that was his hometown). I also want Jacques Pepin and Sara Moulton.

And, let's have a series of specials done by one of the AB Boys on BBQ ... touring the country sampling and showing real BBQ being made. Maybe each show is coupled with a here's-how-you-can-try-this-at-home segment ... including recipes. GOOD ones.
Never missed an episode of Frugal Gourmet. Loved that show. I also like America's Test Kitchen on the PBS Create channel. Unfortunately, now that I have u-verse, I don't get that channel anymore...

Will there be dancing girls? If not then we need at least one hottie to hold your camera!

I would watch the show RTD. If there were dancing girls and naked assistants, I would pay attention too.
