This is not a sanctioned event....It is a fundraiser. Last year there were over 40 teams and this year they are anticipating 65 teams. It is first class all the way. Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine is the location and the entire parking lot is fenced in for the teams and the events. They have a casino night on friday night for the teams and entry is only $50 to enter and includes the casino night for a team of 4 as well as entry into brisket, ribs, 1/2 chicken and wild game. They also have a beans contest, bloody mary, margarita, best decorations, and people's choice as well as poker hand.

You will not win any money but you will probably have more fun than at any other competition you enter and the entry fee does not even cover what it costs the event to host you.
