CFHoF 2009 - How I did (with Pron!)
I have posted the results from the Amateur division in a separate thread. Below is some of the pron I took at the cook-off. Since I had to leave early to go to work (who planned this?) my friend Farklf was there to finish things up for me. We placed as the second-runner-up, so I don't think we did too bad for our first attempt. Here's the pron!
Here was our tent: Early morning picture of the College Football Hall of Fame building: Here is the view out the front of our tent: This is Emma Carter, she placed second in the competition last year. Enjoyed talking with her, and many other team members. Ok, here was my first real attempt at a "Putting Green". It took me quite a while to get it done and I felt that I could have made a better one. However, I was the topic of conversation when I started working on it! Here is our final turn-in box: We had three KCBS Certified judges and three other judges. Here are the breakdown of scores from each judge: Judge #1 - 9 5 6 Judge #2 - 6 8 7 Judge #3 - 6 5 5 Judge #4 - 8 8 8 Judge #5 - 8 7 7 Judge #6 - 8 8 8 Our final score was 145.7142, 0.0002 points behind the first place runner-up. Just want to send out a work of thanks to everyone here who assisted in this endeavor. While we still have a ways to go, I feel we did a respectable job. But we couldn't have done as well without your help. Thanks!

Congrats on your finish. I'm guessing judges 2, 3 and 5 were the CBJs. LOL!

Nothing amateurish about those ribs. Very nice job! You look ready to move up to the professional ranks. Congratulations!
